The latest version of The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers is the 7th edition. Since the MLA Handbook is geared toward high school and undergraduate level students, it will be the main manual that CCC students will refer to for MLA style citations.
The latest version of The MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing is the 3rd edition. The MLA Style Manual is geared toward graduate students, scholars, and professional writers.
