Douglas Library is pleased to be able to announce the availability of three ebook package trials (available by clicking on the linked title below):

Springerlink Ebook trial available for two weeks.  More than 9000 STEM titles included.

ProQuest Ebook trial available for 30 days.  More than 40,000 titles covering arts, business, health, STEM, literature, history, social sciences and more are included.

Humanities Ebook trial extended.  Over 5000 humanities ebooks available.

A trial means you can search and use the materials in the collection to see how it meets your needs – reading, browsing, or research.  I encourage you to search and download content from each of these products while on- or off-campus.  In addition, feel free to provide feedback on your experience using any/all of the ebook packages.

Welcome - Fall 2016

Welcome (or welcome back) to Fall Semester 2016!  Douglas Library staff welcome you and invite you to visit. 

We are located on the 2nd floor of the Moore Building, and are open Monday - Thursday 8 am to 6 pm and Friday 8 am to 4 pm.

What can you do at the library?

·         Borrow books & DVDs with your Clinton ID

·         Get in-person research assistance from a librarian

·         Study in our Quiet or Group Study rooms

·         Use computers for coursework (secure wireless is also available if you bring your own device)

·         Use the KIC scanner or photocopier

·         Borrow a graphing calculator for MAT 103 or higher

·         Use course reserves textbooks (we have several but not all)

·         Leave a book or take a book at our Book Exchange located in the library hallway

Not on campus often?  Many library resources and services are available to you wherever you are!

·         Databases, E-journals, Ebooks & EBSCO Discovery (our version of search everything)

·         Ask Us 24/7 chat reference assistance (link available on most library pages)

·         Interlibrary loan

·         LibGuides research guides

If you're looking for our Online Books page, all of the content is now listed on the library homepage under E-Books.

E-Books at Douglas Library

Our e-books collection has now been expanded to include current scholarly publications in the sciences. Whether you're looking for an additional resource on Wind Energy & Turbine Technology or for Nursing & Allied Health, definitely check it out!

Not all of the e-books in the collection are downloadable, but there are thousands of free e-books that are available online and can act as excellent resources for your final papers.
